L'œuvre

Wave of Fukushima is a tribute to all the bodies swept away during the Fukushima tsunami. This is the 2nd time that I work after the wave of Kanagawa by Hokusai that I admire enormously. The murderous wave drags along the lifeless body of this woman who lets herself be carried along in the movement. The hair becomes one with the wave, and the dress merges with the waves, wave and woman being one.
