Relentlessly I paint the joy of life, which lives in me ! Despite the clouds masking the sun, be it the Mariupol children’s hospital and maternity ward airstrike on 9 March 2022, or the New York terrorist attack that killed five of my friends on 31 October 2017. I am dedicating two of my paintings to these abominable events. I have renamed Mariupol a metamorphosing work that has accompanied me for years, previously titled Ange & Démon. And I have specifically painted Que el Amor Venza Al Odio to honor the memory of my friends.
