This painting explores how perspective transforms meaning. At first, the strokes suggested something more grounded, more earthly. But as I stepped back, distancing myself from the canvas, a new vision emerged—an aerial view of land embraced by the sea. Inspired by Mallorca, the island I call home, this piece captures the essence of its rugged coastlines, the ever-changing blues of the water, and the way land and sea intertwine. From a distance, patterns shift, new forms take shape, and what once felt familiar becomes something entirely new. A reminder that stepping back can reveal unexpected beauty.
