L'œuvre

In order to materialize time, the photography of an old building in Tbilissi, shot by the artist during her residency in Georgia, is print by sublimation on silk polyester and then totally unweaved keeping only the vertical threads that are stabilized between two bronze bars. They materialize time. Two layers of textile are issued from the same image, but printed mirrored. This is a kind of analogical superimposition of the final image. It gives the illusion of a third dimension and a cinetic effect appears in the light.
