For me, one of the most inspiring parts of the creative process is to continually experiment with new ideas until they take shape in a concrete artwork. The collage technique is one of my favourites for this because it allows me to play with an infinite variety of possibilities until I find the one that resonates with me. I've been working on ways to incorporate scraps from other paintings into a composition for a long time. A way to make sense of loose pieces that finally find their place. As isolated moments that can only be understood by looking back.
