I grew up on the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago, in its capital Port-of-Spain. My family moved to the US when I was 12. Being an immigrant without having legal status as a teen, presented many challenges and a not promising future.
Challenges became my fuel, always pushing myself to be the best version of me regardless of my surroundings or society's limitations. The trials of life gave me the skills I needed to sharpen my pencil and breathe life into my art.
There's nothing as challenging as pulling out a blank canvas staring at it and letting it tell me what it wants to become. Working as a Photographer and Director allowed me to hone in on my attention to details, capturing a mood and telling a story.
