Ce tableau évoque la maturation des lymphocytes T dans le thymus, ces cellules sont des composantes majeures du système immunitaire adaptatif. Leurs rôles comprennent la destruction directe des cellules hôtes infectées, l’activation d’autres cellules immunitaires, la production de cytokines et la régulation de la réponse immunitaire. Le thymus s’atrophie avec l’âge et produit donc moins de lymphocytes T au fil du temps. Bon à savoir 😅
