Cette toile fait partie d'une série intitulée "La ruée vers l'or" et a été présentée au Centre National d'Exposition du Saguenay au Quebec. Elle évoque l'itinérance d'un groupe de personnes voyageant entre l’Amérique centrale et la frontière américaine. Un périple de plus de 3.000 km à pied réalisé souvent dans le plus grand dénuement.
