For the artwork is used a special printing technique according to the principles of photo-transfer and fresco-technology. Digital printouts of photos are manually pressed into still moist plaster coating. The printbase is a 440gr thick handmade paper/carton, coated with several plaster layers, based in gypsum.
Each print is unique. Using this method I interpret and transform my own photo series.
A few notes: The plaster-coated picture sheet is relatively thick like a cardboard and not continuously flat. So it can hang on a clip as shown, of course it can hang framed (here 40x50cm). The plaster surface is not very sensitive to light.
