Le 13 /10/82, au Shea Stadium de New York, un petit quatuor anglais appelé The Clash s'est échauffé pour un autre groupe anglais de quatre musiciens appelé The WHO .Lors d’un déménagement quand il découvrit les bandes du Shea Stadium dans le coffre où elles croupissaient depuis dix-sept ans, Joe Strummer éprouva une sensation des plus étrange celle d’être en présence de “rebelles professionnels”.L’extension , ce joue avec ironie de leur coté PUNK ,ANARCHISTE,REBEL ... en les integrant dans l’univers du CAPITAIN AMERICA , super et bienveillant soldat AMERICAIN
