Elle a eu la chance d'aller plusieurs fois en mer pour chercher et baliser plusieurs de ces géants des mers dans le Finistère sud, proche de la presqu'île de Penmarc'h. Cette espèce de requin, qu'elle affectionne particulièrement, mange du plancton en nageant la gueule grande ouverte (ce qui peut être impressionnant), proche de la surface, laissant dépasser son aileron dorsal. Ce requin est représenté dans une vague avec, en dernier plan, le phare d'Eckmülh, à Penmarc'h
