The artwork

Cette oeuvre capture un lieu dans sa complexité, mêlant nature impressionnante, histoire et spiritualité en Bretagne Sud. Elle montre une falaise rocheuse baignée par la mer, où un chemin sinueux en escaliers, conduit à une statue de Saint-Gildas, discrètement nichée dans le paysage. La composition met l’accent sur la verticalité de la falaise, la grandeur du site naturel et la fragilité humaine face à cette immensité. La palette est dominée par des tons chauds et terreux –rouges, bruns et ocres– qui donnent vie aux rochers et créent un contraste frappant avec le bleu argenté de la mer et capture la lumière changeante du littoral breton.
