Rut Blees Luxemburg explore la représentation urbaine à travers la photographie, des installations publiques comme "Silver Forest" à Westminster, ou la série Piccadilly’s Piccadilloes à Heathrow, aux mises en scène d'opéra. Elle a exposé au Royaume-Uni -Tate Liverpool et Museum of London- en France, en Allemagne et aux USA.
