The artwork

It all started in 2009, with a series of paintings playfully overlapping a thickly outlined King Kong silhouettes with stamped patterns of lipsticks, high heels shoes and bras. It was all about making fun of male supremacy. Then the #MeToo movement happened, and it made me feel like revisiting this series, as I relocated from Paris to New York City, the city of King Kong, the time felt right to go back to it… This digital series was painting on the iPad, in hi resolution.
