Mother Earth

Under extreme weather conditions, a friend once said that we realize "we need Mother Nature's permission" to go outside, to do anything. We often forget the Earth, nature, and all that it encompasses, have control over our lives. This second and the next, is thanks to the air that we breathe, that it creates. The food that it grows. The warmth that it gives. We rely on it all. A dreamy pink sky Mother Earth Stitched stems and leaves growing from her floating hair. This works represents nature. Mother nature. And human nature inside of us.
