Artiste brésilien, Tomás Amorim étudie dans un premier temps la géographie au Brésil avant de poursuivre des études d’arts plastiques et de photographie en France en 2015. Si la photographie a d’abord été un outil pour ses recherches en Géographie, son expérience de tireur-filtreur dans les laboratoires parisiens où il a travaillé l’emmène à expérimenter la photographie dans ses propriétés physiques.
