UN CLIN D’ŒIL Sans vraiment s’inspirer de Piet Mondrian, ou peut-être inconsciemment, Philippe Fares a composé ce tableau en plaquant sur le lin, trois panneaux de treillis métalliques, qui cadencent la toile. Il y a ensuite coulé sept formes carrées de différentes couleurs, teintées dans la masse.

The artist Philippe FARES

Philippe Fares est un artiste français contemporain dont le parcours a été profondément façonné par la diversité des cultures et l'interaction de l'art et de la science. Son point de vue unique, aiguisé par une enfance passée en Afrique subsaharienne, témoigne de son exposition précoce au monde de l'art, en particulier à l'influence des arts primitifs. De retour en France à l'âge de 16 ans, Philippe s'engage dans un chemin qui lui permet de cultiver sa compréhension des arts occidentaux tout en poursuivant des études scientifiques.
