Une nuit de février à Séville, une douceur presque estivale et ce magnifique pont Isabelle II qui se reflète dans l'eau. Un instant doux et magique à la fois. C’est bien le travail sur les lumières nocturnes de la ville qui m’attire le plus. Et quel plus bel exemple que les lumières de ce pont ? Je ne pouvais pas ne pas le peindre ! Le calme du fleuve, le calme de la nuit. C’est du moins l’impression que l’on tire de cette toile. Pourtant la vie trépide autour de ce pont. Il n’y a qu’à traverser le pont pour trouver l’ambiance festive des nuits sévillanes.
