The artwork

Plusieurs volumes et essences de bois cohabitent, Padouk, érable et hêtre(toutes ont été glanées dans les réserves de l’école nationale de design industriel). Les états de la matière varient, depuis les masses tournées jusqu’aux fibres résiduelles qui révèlent (lorsqu’on se rapproche) leurs dimensions tactiles et olfactives. Lors de ce processus d’émergence des éléments, la rotation du tour à bois est à l’origine d’une réflexion sur le temps. Un temps cyclique telle une boucle/loop infinie d’où naitraient des formes familières n’ayant pourtant jamais atteint leur fonction.

The artist Amentia SIARD BROCHARD

Née en 1990 en Normandie, Amentia Siard Brochard vit et travaille entre Cherbourg et Paris. Après son diplôme d’architecte à l’Ecole Nationale d’Architecture de Bretagne (2013), elle réside un an chez Berengo Studio à Venise.
