The artwork

GOLFARIANE i/15 est un solide de révolution, d’un diamètre de 35,8 cm, composé de 160 balles de golf. L’homothétie correspondante est de rapport 8,4. La position relative des balles, est légèrement aléatoire, car la surface d’une sphère n’est pas développable. Il se produit à l’assemblage, un phénomène comparable à l’écoulement non laminaire d’un fluide : une dislocation inévitable des balles entres elles. Le maillage plutôt régulier et périodique des balles interconnectées, autorise des vides, par lesquels la lumière s’échappe et crée un éclairage continu de couleurs, selon le spectre lumineux visible.
