« DES APLATS DE COULEURS BLEUS ET VERTS » Là encore, calcin et résine de coulée sont les principaux matériaux qui constituent cette toile « FLOAT SHARDS ». Avec « DILUTION », Philippe FARES évoque ceux qui migrent par centaines sur les océans vers des terres de Liberté. La bande noire qui sépare le tableau en deux parties, stylise les embarcations bondées, à la surface de l’eau. Cette ligne fragile se distingue à peine de la base bleue cobalt de l’œuvre, dans la traversée de nuit, où les corps entassés en silence se fondent dans l’obscurité. Aucun repère n’apparaît aux alentours pour guider ces gens vers la Liberté.
