Au fond d’un loch ou perché sur un promontoire, réel ou rêvé, le château nous invite avec sa part de mystère à laisser notre imagination vagabonder. Dans style proche du Sumi-e, j’ai cherché la sobriété et la spontanéité, négligé tout détail superflu, laisser l’eau faire son chemin et rendre ainsi la peinture vivante. Comme dans le zen, où peu de mots suffisent à exprimer le sens des choses, il faut laisser le château se présenter à notre esprit : le bruit du vent à travers ses pierres, son reflet dans l’eau, son âme raisonner au fond de la notre puis laisser le pinceau glisser sur la feuille blanche… Etre encore à limite de l’abstraction
