Cette peinture à l'huile fait partie de la série "Cosmos". Ici il s'agit d'une interprétation de cet horizon des événements, nom donné à la surface située aux abords d'un trou noir, depuis laquelle plus rien ne nous parvient ou n'en réchappe, ni lumière, ni objet céleste. La force gravitationnelle du trou noir est telle que tout est absorbé par lui car il faudrait que la vitesse de libération face à cette gravité soit supérieure à celle de la lumière. C'est un horizon donc. Qu'il y a-t-il de l'autre côté ? Dans le trou noir ? Un autre univers ... d'autres objets célestes ... d'autres mondes ... L'imagination seule peut y répondre.
