The artwork

ANIMAL KINGDOM est une série de photographies sur les transformations environnementales liées à l’influence prédominante de l’homme sur l’écosphère, notamment l’extinction des espèces. Dans cette série, jouant sur une narration dystopique dans laquelle les animaux auraient disparu, j’utilise des photographies de milieux naturels provenant de mes archives de voyages, dans lesquelles je mets en scène des images de peluches d’animaux. Par ces photomontages d’animaux factices placés dans leur milieu naturel, je cherche à créer un décalage visuel, brouillant les frontières entre réalité et fiction, pour proposer une image qui questionne.
