Virginie Rasmont, artiste plasticienne basée à Paris, explore la féminité, le corps et les relations intimes en intégrant universalité, spiritualité et engagement politique. Son œuvre place le « soin » au centre de ses réflexions, faisant du corps féminin un symbole d’émancipation et un enjeu politique. Inspirée par Camille Froidevaux-Metterie, elle déconstruit l’objectification du corps pour en faire un espace de réappropriation et de libération. Son podcast Vivre son corps prolonge cette démarche, offrant un lieu d’échanges sur la relation des femmes à leur corps. Travaillant sur papier avec des techniques mixtes (aquarelle, encres, acrylique), ses œuvres abstraites représentent le corps féminin dans sa pluralité : vulnérable face à son propre regard ou puissant, porteur de vie. Au-delà de la représentation physique du corps qui est centrale dans son travail, Virginie Rasmont aborde des questions philosophiques en lien avec le temps qui passe, l’impermanence, le caractère cyclique de la vie. Elle s’interroge sur ce qui nous unit en tant qu’humains : notre vulnérabilité et nos failles, mais aussi les traces immatérielles que chacun.e laisse derrière soi. Ses fresques murales, influencées par Niki de Saint Phalle, Georgia O’Keeffe et Matisse, célèbrent la vitalité des corps féminins et invitent à une expérience collective. Ancienne professionnelle de santé, elle intègre une dimension thérapeutique à son art, nourri par l'acceptation des émotions et du renouveau. Ses créations universelles célèbrent la liberté du corps féminin, appelant à la réinvention et à la célébration de soi.
