The artwork

La scène se déroule dans une grotte éclairée par de longues chandelles flamboyantes créant un contraste lumière ombres profondes. Le cadre souterrain est étrange, les parois s’ornent de stalactites délicates qui ajoutent une dimension subtile et naturelle. Des personnages détaillés dispersés, engagé dans une activité mystérieuse. L'un grimpe une échelle pour allumer une bougie, un autre médite, atmosphère presque sacrée. Un autre en peinture rupestre sur la paroi rocheuse. Au centre, une étendue d'eau reflète discrètement les lueurs vacillantes. Premier plan des soldats armés, ds l’ombre ceux qui donnent Lumière, ceux qui donnent la Mort.
