Brigitte NAHON

Graduated with a Master I in visual arts at the University of Provence and a Master II (DEA) in visual arts in Paris I pantheon-Sorbonne.

Brigitte NaHoN's work is a constant search for unstable stability, that where the inner self is reached through the spectators' dialogue with Space and Time. Through drawing and sculpture using a variety of materials and shapes NaHoN creates moments of unexpected balance that emerge from paradoxical situations, past and present daily circumstances calling into question our habits, our way of seeing things, our feelings to the point of pushing our limits of knowledge and perception.

Brigitte NaHoN has received numerous awards including The Villa Medicis Hors les Murs en 1994.

Her works belong to prestigious public and private collections such as: The Jewish Museum of New York City, The MOCA Hudson Valley Center of Contemporary Arts, Progressive inc., The FNAC, Fmac Art Contemporary Collection of The City of Paris, DRAC Ile-de France, Joel and Sherry Mallin, Toby Lewis, Viviane Bregman, Diane Ackerman, Carrie Shapiro et Peter Frey, Laura Skoler, Marion and Guy Naggar, Jérôme et Emmanuelle de Noirmont, Diane Venet, Yvon Lambert,
